This vulnerability has been found in Minecraft, too which affects the Log4J binary for logging things that the app does.
It might affect your software that you are using, but it is unsure currently what software has vulnerabilities and what doesn’t.
Some people think that steam is also affected with this vulnerability, and others.
Mojang has released a patch for Minecraft and you must be on version 1.18.1 or newer for the patch.
Some people have made demos of how it works, but basically the reason why this vulnerability is so dangerous is because an attacker can run any commands (without admin because Minecraft and some affected software because Java does not run as administrator) like remove or make directories, execute files, download files but in the end, THEY DO NOT RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR AND THEY CANNOT EXECUTE ANY MALWARE WHICH REQUIRES ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILEGES.
So in conclusion, Log4J is as vulnerable as a PS4 web browser.
