How to virtualize Android by yourself.

Do you feel like you do not want to download Microsoft garbage? I have the perfect open-source solution that exists.

  1. Download Virtualbox here.
  2. Install Virtualbox. If you do not know how to do that, then you should not be here.
  3. Download this if you have a 32-bit machine, download this if you use a 64-bit machine.
  4. This will take a while. While that is happening, follow this video to create a Virtual Machine in Virtualbox:

This also works on Vmware Player, but Virtualbox also works.

5. When your download is finished, open Virtualbox and go to Settings > Storage > Click the hdd icon:

and press Add.

6. Select your file that you just downloaded (the Virtualbox .vdi file which you may have to unzip because it is probably compressed in a file) and press “OK” then select it and press “Choose”. Press OK and start the VM.

Done!
